Call of Duty is a first-person shooter video game based on ID Tech 3, and was released on October 29, 2003. The game was created by Infinity Word and published by Activation 7 The game mimics World War II infantry and combined weapon warfare. Call of Duty: United Offensive, created by Gray Matter Interactive with the contribution of Pie Studio and produced by Activation. The game follows American and British paratroopers and the Red Army. The Mac OS X version of the game was ported by Aspyr Media. In late 2004, the N-Gauge version was created by Nokia and published by Activation. Other versions have been released for the PC, including Collector's Edition (with soundtrack and strategy guide), Game of the Year (with game updates), and Deluxe Edition.
